Brazil, Curitiba: Four Points by Sheraton Review

The Four Points by Sheraton is a central location when visiting the city of Curitiba, located a few minutes away from the local Curitiba mall and restaurants. It was one of the better hotel options in the area during our business trip.  Unsure of what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival at the establishment.  

Rooms are spacious and equipped with free WiFi, cable TV, a mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities and air conditioning. 

The bathrooms are well maintained with complimentary fragranced toiletries which we quite liked.

In addition, we also received complimentary slippers sporting the Four Points by Sheraton logo.

On site private parking is available for those travellers who require parking.  The establishment boasts a well equipped business center and an indoor heated swimming pool.  Due to time constraints, we had not been able to utilise these facilities.

Breakfast was a huge spread of both national and international cuisine, making it the perfect opportunity to try the local breakfast specialities.  

Being English spoken, we must admit that we did not experience any difficulty in communicating with the friendly efficient staff.  We had occasions where the receptionist was unable to communicate back to us in English however she promptly found someone who could assist us in sourcing a taxi.  When travelling to Curitiba or Brazil for that matter, always ensure you have cash with you should you travel by taxi.  We found that there were not many taxi's which had credit card facilities at first.

A wonderful hotel which fulfils the needs of both the business and family traveller when visiting Curitiba.  Definitely our personal choice of accomodation for future Curitiba trips.
